Hi and welcome to DROOL! I am so happy to have you here and invite you to take some time, look around and if you like what you see…let’s book a photo-session!
A little about me- my name is Darah Groce and I am the owner and photographer at DROOL. I started my journey as a photographer in 2006 after graduating with a fine arts degree. Photography is my expression for my love for art and all things creative. I am able to design and create the photo-session of your dreams while we work together to style your child’s shoot. I started my journey launching my first photography company DollFace Studio in Philadelphia back when I was just recently engaged myself and had the freedom to photograph weddings every weekend. As time went on and my first and then second child was born, my husband and I moved out of the city into the suburbs to grow our roots and raise our family. I started photographing my children and all my clients from DollFace had children and I realized how much joy it brought me to preserve memories of all the tiny babies that I was able to photograph and here my friends, in 2012 is when DROOL was born!
Turning a corner in my career and moving into photographing children I have only grown to love it more and more. Now, after 5 years I have established a business where I able to set myself a part from the run of the mill photographer. Offering my clients a high end boutique experience and making relationships to last a life time. Watching my clients families grow and blossom is so much fun and always keeps up on our toes! If you are looking for a modern but timeless set, then I encourage to book your session with me:)
Bragging rights; My work has been featured in many blogs and magazines during my career. To name a few, my wedding photography has been published in Style Me Pretty Rock N Roll Bride and we had won Best of Philadelphia from Philadelphia Magazine! I have worked with the best photographers in the world from weddings to children, education is something that is very important to me and I continue to educate myself yearly.
